Welcome Dinner Organized in Istanbul for the Participants of the BHPP IT Training Program

The BHPP on-the-job training program in the IT sector in Istanbul has entered its second phase. Eighteen selected program participants traveled to Istanbul where they were welcomed by BIGMEV employees.
On Sunday, October 9, 2022, a welcome dinner and introduction to the mentors who would monitor and guide the training and professional development of the program participants was organized in Istanbul.
On that occasion, Mr. Hakan Yurdakul, member of the Presidential Council for Economic Policy, H.E. Mr. Adis Alagić, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ankara, Mr. Šekib Avdagić, President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Muzaffer Cilek, President of BIGMEV and member of the Board of Alija Izetbegović Foundation, addressed those present.
Turkish companies in which the participants will work and gain practical knowledge during the one-year-long period are: Softtech, INTERTECH, Mikro Yazılım A.Ş., Trendyol Group, Agito Software & Consulting, Enocta and Kuveyt Türk Katılım Bankası.
The companies-sponsors which financially supported this project are: Sunar Grup, Dimes A.Ş., İşbir Holding, Adore Furniture Industry, Kilim Mobilya A.Ş., Uludağ İçecek, Sekiza Teknoloji ve Havacılık, TURBOARD, NURUS, FLO Mağazacılık.
The IT Sector Human Resources Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina was launched as a joint project of BIGMEV and the Alija Izetbegović Foundation to support the economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is implemented in partnership with Istanbul Ticaret University and International University of Sarajevo. Following the one-year-long training in the companies of the Republic of Turkiye, the participants will be obliged to work for the Bosnian and Herzegovinian companies during the next two years.
