Sabina Berberović as a Panelist at the 10th World Turkish Business Council Congress

Sabina Berberović, one of the Foundation’s founders and a member of its Board, participated in the 10th World Turkish Business Council Congress (DEIK), which took place on 15th and 16th of September 2023 in Istanbul, organized by the Türkiye’s Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK). 

Mrs. Sabina Berberović took part in this event as a panelist on the topics of the importance of diaspora, the Bosnian and Herzegovinian diaspora in the Republic of Türkiye, and the issue of migrations in general in today’s world. During the Congress, Mrs. Berberović had a chance to present the work of the Foundation as well, and to meet numerous influential individuals in the Republic of Türkiye.  

The participants of this important event were acknowledged by the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

It was a special honor to have a representative of the Alija Izetbegović Foundation at this Congress, and we express our gratitude to the hosts, as well as to the friendly Turkish people, for their continuing support to the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for keeping alive the memory of Alija Izetbegović’s life and work.
