Representatives of Islamic Relief and International Waqf Fund in Bosnia and Herzegovina visited the Alija Izetbegović Foundation 

On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, the Alija Izetbegović Foundation was visited by Mr. Emir Čiča, Manager of the Islamic Relief WW BiH and Mr. Farid Al Zayat, Consultant and Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina on behalf of the International Waqf Fund.

Dear guests were welcomed in the Foundation’s premises by Mr. Zijad Ljevaković, President of the Foundation’s Board, Mrs. Sabina Berberović, a member of the Board, Mrs. Esma Zlatar, Acting Secretary General, and Mr. Dino Softić, Assistant to Secretary General.

During this visit, the guests had the opportunity to learn more about the establishment and work of the Foundation, its implemented and planned activities and projects, while the representatives of the Foundation got acquainted with the mission, goals and numerous projects of Islamic Relief and International Waqf Fund. Both sides in particular discussed the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the ways in which all three organizations could act with the aim of improving the lives of peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially young people, their networking, empowerment and preparation for the future in their homeland, the country of all its peoples and citizens.

In this regard, both sides expressed hope and readiness for future cooperation in fields of mutual importance and agreed to meet again soon.
