MoU signed with the Bosniak Women’s Association “Zambak” from Türkiye

On April 5, 2024 we had an opportunity to welcome President and the members of the Bosniak Women’s Association “Zambak” from the Republic of Türkiye.

We talked about the work of both the Foundation and the Association, and the need to preserve identity and the knowledge of the Bosnian language among the new generations in the Republic of Türkiye whose origins are from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We also emphasized the significance of getting to know the life and work of President Alija Izetbegović, whose life experiences and struggles could serve as an inspiration to all of us. The members of the Association also visited the premises in which Alija Izetbegović lived during his life.

We used this opportunity to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the Alija Izetbegović Foundation and the “Zambak” Association and we are looking forward to our mutual projects in the future.
