Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Bosnia and Herzegovina Visited the Alija Izetbegović Foundation

On the March 4, 2024, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H. E. Zaher MBM Alkhurainej, visited the Alija Izetbegović Foundation. 

Ambassador was welcomed in the premises of the Foundation by Mr Zijad Ljevaković, Chair of the Foundation’s Board, Mrs Sabina Berberović, one of the founders and a member of the Board, Mrs Esma Zlatar, Secretary General, and Dino Softić, Assistant to Secretary General.

It was an honor to present to Ambassador Alkhurainej the work of the Foundation and the most significant implemented and planned projects. We used this opportunity to talk about the life and legacy of Alija Izetbegović and Ambassador toured the house and rooms in which President Izetbegović lived. Ambassador also provided advice on the possibility of establishing connections with similar organizations in Kuwait and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
